Speeding Through at Lightspeed

Table of Contents

The entire Celestial Park area, where Stardust Racers will be located, is shaping up to be one of the most unique and immersive new additions to Universal. With glowing landscapes, futuristic architecture, and an atmosphere that feels like you’ve stepped into a sci-fi fantasy, this coaster wont just be a ride—it’s going to be a journey through the cosmos.

Theming? Check. Thrills? Double check. A coaster experience that leaves you breathless? Universal’s got that covered.

Universal’s Most Epic Coaster Yet!

Epic universe

Get ready to strap in, future space racers. Universal’s newest coaster, Stardust Racers, ready to launch adrenaline chasers into a whole new stratosphere of excitement! Located in the Celestial Park area, this dual-launch rollercoaster won’t be just another high-speed attraction, it’s a intergalactic competition with high-stakes that looks to be one of the most visually stunning and heart-pounding coasters Universal has ever built.

A Race Among the Stars

Universal is no stranger to pushing the boundaries of coaster technology, but Stardust Racers will be on a whole new level! Featuring not one, but two 5,000-foot-long tracks (getting Duelling Dragon vibe), this ride pits riders against each other in a cosmic race to the finish line. We are thinking VelociCoaster meets TRON Lightcycle / Run, with a side of galactic flair.

Talking about speed (No Keanu Reeves in sight), this coaster will reach a blazing 62 mph, making it one of the fastest rides in the park. That’s faster than a speeding broomstick or Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and just shy of Hulk’s roaring launch. If Universal insisted in wearing a space helmet for this one, we wouldn’t question it!

The Celestial Spin: A Twist Like No Other

What will really set Stardust Racers apart is the Celestial Spin. A mind blowing inversion where the two coaster tracks twist around each other in a synchronised ballet of steel and speed. Picture two coasters racing side by side, then suddenly flipping in opposite directions, intertwining in a way that makes you question gravity itself. If the visuals of this don’t leave you wide eyed, the G-forces surely will!

What You Need to Know Before You Race

Since Stardust Racers is shaping up to be a must-ride attraction, you’ll want to plan ahead to beat the crowds. Here are some tips to make the most of your visit:

Height Requirement: Expect it to be at least 48 inches, similar to other intense Universal coasters.

Stay at a Universal Premier Resort – Not only do you get Early Park Admission, but resorts like Loews Royal Pacific, Hard Rock Hotel, and Portofino Bay offer complimentary Express Passes, which could be a game-changer once this ride opens.

Pack the Right Gear – With speeds topping 62 mph, secure storage is a must. A bag pack that fits under your shirt is your best bet since larger bags will need to go in lockers.
