May 22nd 2025 a day theme park fans have been waiting for, Universal’s Epic Universe. On this day we finally get to step inside this new cosmic hotspot! Celestial Park will be the hub that brings Epic Universe together.
Not only will it be the stepping in point for Epic Universe, it will be the central hub of the park and guests pathway into new worlds. The design looks like it will be a utopian paradise that blends cutting edge attractions, beautiful landscapes, and futuristic dining experiences.
Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a sci-fi dreamer, or just someone looking for a stellar spot to enjoy a churro (we will find out if a theme park in Florida can do them right), Celestial Park is going to be Universal’s most breathtakingly beautiful theme park area yet.
What is Celestial Park?
A lush, otherworldly gateway with glowing gardens, dazzling water features, and architecture that is straight out of a science-fiction novel, this land in Epic Universe is designed to make you feel like you’ve stepped into another dimension where neon lights and cosmic energy power the fun.
The area serves as the hub of Epic Universe, acting as a launchpad (pun fully intended) to the

This dual-track racing coaster pits riders against each other in a high-speed celestial showdown that combines blazing launches, thrilling inversions, and a mind-bending synchronised twist that looks like something out of a sci-fi action movie. With speeds clocking in at a dizzying 62 mph, this coaster is giving VelociCoaster a run for its money, and your stomach a reason to reconsider that last snack.
Constellation Carousel
Universal’s taking the traditional carousel concept and launching it into orbit. Constellation Carousel is a mesmerising, slow-moving attraction that lets you float through a dreamy, celestial landscape. Think E.T. Adventure meets classic carnival ride, but with a galactic glow-up. Perfect for kids, nostalgia lovers, and anyone who just needs a break from the high-speed coasters.
Astronomica
At the heart of Celestial Park, where futuristic design meets natural beauty, you’ll find Astronomica an interactive play area that blends dancing water features, shimmering lights, and cosmic energy into one mesmerising experience.
Cosmic Bites and Galactic Delights
Epic Universe isn’t just bringing next-level attractions, it’s serving up some truly cosmic eats. Whether you’re craving a juicy steak, a stellar slice of pizza, or a boozy beverage from beyond the stars, this lineup has something for every space traveler. So get ready for Lunch in 10…9..8…etc (or Breakfast or Dinner), it’s time to explore Celestial Park’s dining scene!
Atlantic
If space is the final frontier, then Atlantic is the place where land and sea meet in the most delicious way. This full service seafood and steakhouse will hopefully offer a menu as grand as the cosmos, with perfectly seared cuts of beef and the freshest catches from the ocean (or whatever body of water spacefaring chefs are sourcing from these days). With a aquarium style setting, expect a dining experience that’s as visually stunning as it is flavourful.
Comet Dogs
Ever wonder what space hot dogs taste like? While I can’t confirm whether these will float away if you let go, I can hope that Comet Dogs will be slinging some seriously good franks. Expecting next-level toppings and some flavours that are light years ahead of your standard ballpark or theme park dog.
Sar Sui Bao
Bao buns are basically the tacos of the intergalactic culinary world, small, handheld, and packed with flavours. Sar Sui Bao is a quick-service cart that will be serving perfect, fluffy, steamed bao buns filled with everything from tender meats to bold Asian-inspired flavours. No utensils required, just grab, bite, and blast off!
Pizza Moon
Pizza Moon because Pizza is Universal (See what I did there?). This quick service pizza spot is sure to take the humble slice to celestial heights. Bonus: There’s a Coca-Cola Freestyle refill station, so you can create your own soda concoction that may or may not be a science experiment.
The Oak & Star Tavern
It’s not just BBQ, this is a joint BBQ with roundhouse vibes (which I assume means something between cowboy energy and a saloon for space travellers). Smoky, slow-cooked meats with bold flavours, plus a cozy tavern feel that makes you want to pull up a chair and tell tall tales of your latest space expedition, my mouth is watering already.
The Plastered Owl
Right next door to The Oak & Star Tavern, this quick-service drink spot offers beers, brews, and probably a few concoctions that will make you believe you’re orbiting a distant planet.
Frosty Moon
Ok so, we all know Florida is basically the surface of the sun in the Summer, so ice cream stands like Frosty Moon are essential for survival. Serving up frozen treats and housing another Coca-Cola Freestyle refill station, will this Ice Cream defy the Florida heat.
Celestial
Tiki bars already have a vibe all there own, but imagine one with a galactic twist. Celestial is the place for out-of-this-world cocktails in an atmosphere that probably feels like stepping into a neon-lit dreamscape.
The Blue Dragon
If the name didn’t already sell you, just picture a full service Pan-Asian restaurant decked out in neon dragons. (Yes, please.) This is where you’ve got to go for bold flavours, colourful dishes, and a dining experience that feels like stepping into a cyberpunk film.
Meteor Astropub
An astropub sounds like a place where space explorers gather after a long day. This quick service joint is where you’ll find savory bites, a welcoming atmosphere, and another Coca-Cola Freestyle station (because hydration is key in this galaxy).
Bar Zenith – Drinks with a View
Nestled near Celestial Park’s main water fountain, Bar Zenith is all about refreshing and mysterious beverages that might just make you rethink the laws of physics and mixology. This will be the spot for a quick sip between attractions or a chance to just sit back and take in the stunning views of the park’s futuristic landscapes.
Even a Starbucks, even the most seasoned space explorer needs a coffee break
